Frapply Studios is an independent web and iOS development practice run by me, Tim, from Banbury. With over 30 years in broadcast and engineering, I give small businesses, sole traders and independent creators across Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds honest, practical technical help, without agency fees or jargon.
I'm based in Banbury and available for face-to-face meetings locally, or I can work remotely with clients anywhere in Oxfordshire. Whether your website isn't bringing in enquiries or you have an app idea, you deal with me directly.
WEBSITE & SEO TIDY-UPS
Many small business websites look fine but are slow, awkward on mobile or hard for search engines to read. I tidy them up:
Speed: optimising images, scripts and hosting so pages load faster.
SEO basics: metadata, broken links, headings and schema fixed so search engines can read your site properly.
Mobile: a site that works smoothly on iPhone, iPad and Android.
Layout: clearer navigation and calls to action, so it's easier for visitors to get in touch.
Website audit: a short written report on what's holding your site back and what to fix first, for £125, credited if you go on to book the work.
NATIVE iOS APPS
Have an app idea, or need a mobile tool for your business? I build native iPhone and iPad apps in Swift and SwiftUI:
Privacy-first: no ad tracking and no unnecessary data collection.
Rapid prototyping: from first sketch to a working app, quickly.
App Store: I handle submission and publishing.
Published work: MeanWeather (a multi-model weather and tide tool) and Eerie (an acoustic and sensor diagnostic tool).
WHY WORK WITH ME
Direct access: no project managers, middle-men or agency mark-ups.
Clear pricing: fixed-price quotes, with the scope agreed up front.
Local: face-to-face in Banbury and across Oxfordshire, or remote.
